Foster Dental Care is hosting Dentistry From the Heart! For one day, the underserved in our community can get free dental care and we need your help spreading the word. If you know anyone in desperate need of dental fillings, extractions or cleaning who can’t afford the services, invite them to:
Dentistry from the Heart
- September 23 • 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Foster Dental Care
- 2150 NW South Outer Road
- One block north of Blue Springs High School & Centennial Pool Plex
Even though there’s no need to make an appointment, patients will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. To be seen for treatment, simply show up with a state-issued ID, list of medications, and health history. Our team of dentists and volunteers will treat as many adults as possible, limit one service per person.
Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission – making people smile. Founded in 2001 DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn’t an option for many adults. To date, DFTH has helped more than 25,000 patients and provided over $6 million in dental care.
We look forward to reaching those in need within our own community. For more information about Foster Dental Care or DFTH, please visit www.fosterdentalcare.com or www.dentistryfromtheheart.org.
